Privacy Policy

SnipMark is designed to collect nothing. We do not require an account, name, email address, or phone number. We do not operate a server that receives your screenshots, annotations, or usage data.

Screenshots you capture, photos you select, and files you import are processed locally on your device. Sessions are stored in SnipMark’s local app storage. Exports go only to the location you choose. We never upload your images to SnipMark or any third party.

On iOS, SnipMark uses the system photo picker, so you choose exactly which photos the app can see. On macOS, files are accessed only through the system open panel.

Screen Recording (macOS). SnipMark asks for Screen Recording access only when you capture a screen region. macOS controls the permission, and you can revoke it in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording. SnipMark does not record in the background.

Photos and files (iOS). SnipMark uses the system photo picker and file picker. You select the exact items to import; the app does not request access to your entire photo library.

Clipboard. SnipMark reads an image from the clipboard only when you explicitly paste.

SnipMark Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple may provide anonymized transaction information needed to unlock Pro, such as whether a purchase was completed. Apple’s handling of your data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

SnipMark does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking. We do not sell or share personal information. If this changes, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy label before the change takes effect.

Sessions are stored on your device for up to 24 hours after their last update, then SnipMark deletes them automatically along with their images. Exports waiting in the app’s outbox are also removed after 24 hours. You can delete a session or an image at any time before then, and uninstalling SnipMark removes everything. Because we do not collect data on a server, there is no server-side copy to retain, export, or delete.

SnipMark is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not collect personal data, there is no profile or account to delete.

You control your screenshots and sessions on your device. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since SnipMark does not collect personal data on a server, we generally have no personal data to provide or delete. You can still contact us with any question or request.

We may update this policy if SnipMark’s features or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top always reflects the latest version. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, in the app.
